Do you work? Where did work get it's beginning? This writer again runs to his Bible, esp. Genesis. Genesis 2:15 reads, "Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it." "Tend" means to cultivate and keeping the garden must allude to work! In Genesi 3:17-19 we again read God and work: "In toil (work) you shall eat of it" and "In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread." Both clearly allude to work. We work because Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, as read in Genesis 3. Why do so many today work 2-3 jobs to make ends meet? Please pray for our nation and the economy!
Are any of in rebellion to God? Are any of you disobeying God in your lives? There is still time to get right with God, by asking forgiveness of your sins and turning to Jesus Christ.
